I look forward to each day when I can wake up and see my beloved grandchildren and help take care of them. Even with this cancer (non-small cell lung cancer), it does not mean my time is up. Some of my relatives are also cancer survivors. They are still living life every day to its fullest.
The Trailblazer Foundation has been subsidizing my cancer drug treatment since February 2007. Without the Foundation’s help, it would be very difficult, if not impossible, for me to go on this treatment as the drug is very expensive. My two children take care of me and my needs. However, they have their own families to provide for and I do not want my illness to drain their financial resources.
I am very grateful to the Trailblazer Foundation for its help.
