Chan Chiew Ping Fund - Cancer Treatment Subsidies
The Chan Chiew Ping Fund has a subsidy scheme to provide financial assistance to female non-smoker lung cancer patients who require treatment with novel drugs for which there is no government subsidy. Depending on their financial circumstances, these patients who are mostly in their fifties and sixties, enjoy a 50-75% subsidy on the cost of their drug treatment.
The National Cancer Centre and the Singapore Cancer Society assist the Foundation in identifying suitable patients who are eligible under this subsidy scheme.
*Application enquiries can be directed to the Singapore Cancer Society (Welfare Programme Section) at 6221-9578.
